Interpreting Kiplin for 400

A National Lottery Heritage Fund Project

During 2023-2024 the Interpreting Kiplin for 400 Project took place, made possible with funding from the National Lottery Heritage Fund. Thank you to lottery players!

The Project Officer was Naomi Peach, working with participants from the Refugee Council, Northdale (a Northallerton based charity working with adults with physical and learning disabilities), and individuals from our local community curation group. Thank you to all the people who made this project possible.

The files held below are PDFs of the interpretation created for museum and garden spaces at Kiplin Hall & Gardens as a result of this project. The interpretation is best viewed in situ, so it can be related to its place. But some may find these files helpful for research. Details of how to visit Kiplin Hall and Gardens can be found HERE. Please note Kiplin is normally open Feb – Nov, 6 days a week, closed on Thursdays. Please always check opening times before you travel as they can change seasonally. Thank you.

You can also see blog posts containing research undertaken for this project HERE
